Willow Shields is a very lucky 13-year-old.

Not only does she play Jennifer Lawrence's little sister, Prim, in the Hunger Games movies, but…

"She's really like a sister to me," Shields told me at the Catching Fire premiere in L.A. "I feel like she's a good support system for me on set because she's really there for me. She helps me through all these scenes and she's just great."

They're tight when the cameras aren't rolling, too.

"We talk a lot," Shields said. "There's a lot of talk about acting and what we plan to do in the future and things like that."

And Shields gives her movie sister big props for her new pixie cut.

"I love it," she said. "I fell like it's edgy Jen. I think she looks beautiful like she always does."

Lawrence, 23, appeals to her costars of all ages.

"She's a delivery system for the truth," Donald Sutherland, who plays President Snow, told me earlier this month. "She channels epiphanies. She's brilliant, she's brilliant. She's unlike other performers."

He added, "When I work with her, between Katniss Everdeen and Coriolanus Snow, it's a battle I can taste, eat—I love it!"

Sutherland, 78, also revealed, "I'm awkward in her presence. When I see her, I babble. When I meet her coming out of an elevator, I'm blub, blub, blub."
