Filming The Hunger Games: Catching Fire in Hawaii sounds like paradise, right?

Of course it was—just ask Jennifer Lawrence.

"That was awesome, except it feels like work is like impeding on your vacation," the 23-year-old actress said during an appearance on the Late Show With David Letterman on Wednesday, Nov. 20. "I feel like very ungrateful to be at work everyday cause I'm like ‘look! We could be there!'" the Oscar winner told David Letterman about shooting the action-adventure thriller in the Aloha State.

But the Hunger Games' leading lady did try to get in the beach mood, by having a few tropical beverages, in her trailer, naturally.

"I turned into such a monster. I was like drinking Piña Coladas. I'm like, 'Get out of here!'" J.Law joked while cuddling up under a pink floral-print quilt.

This witty answer, complete with a bellowing deep voice telling people to leave her alone, prompted the late night host to ask the starlet if it is fun being in movies with her.

Isn't the answer obvious, Dave?!

"Always like this?" she answered as she was shaking her hands.

"Like get out of here!" Letterman responded.

"Get out! That's just fun to say. Get out of my trailer! Oh, I don't know if I'm fun to work with. I don't know," J.Law said.

Speaking of fun, between the stories about her stomach issues and telling tales from the lively set, it sounds like the audience at Letterman was treated to a delightful performance by J.Law.
