Jennifer Lawrence was a no-show at last night's premiere party for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire in Los Angeles because she's been under the weather, but no matter.

The star's absence didn't stop about 1,500 people from having fun at the bash, held on a rooftop of parking garage across the street from the screening at Nokia Theatre L.A. Live.

Partygoers were welcomed to the soiree by a drum line of several men. Once inside, people dressed as if they were at a party in the Capitol (Mohawks, glitter and spiked leather facemasks!) mingled among the crowd.

A fantastic light display of yellow and white hues lit up several bars and dessert tables. Sweets included macarons and Magnum ice cream bars. White roses floated in clear columns filled with water. Bouquets of similar flowers were place on tables and the bars. Several serving stations offered beef, chicken, fish and pasta dishes.

Sam Claflin, who plays Finnick Odair, appeared to be the center of attention with girls and women crowding in and around his reserved seating area to meet and take photos with the British hottie.

Costar Elizabeth Banks also had her own seating area as did Liam Hemsworth, but we didn't spot him, even though yours truly hung around until about midnight.

Also scene at the party were Catching Fire director Francis Lawrence, costume designer Trish Summerville and castmembers Donald Sutherland, Willow Shield, Alan Ritchson, Bruce Bandy, Stephanie Schlund, Erika Bierman and Patrick St. Esprit.

Celeb fans who hit the premiere included Kylie Jenner, Joe Jonas and his girlfriend Blanda Eggenschwiller, Bella Thorne, Jaden Smith, Willow Smith, Michael Chiklis, Peter Facinelli, Nolan Gould and Nate Berkkus and his fiance Jeremiah Brent.

Here's hoping J.Law is better by tomorrow for the last of the Catching Fire premieres in New York City.
