Watch out, Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin), there's a new lady werewolf in New Orleans!

Though The Originals is taking a bit of a breather, which means no new episode tonight (Boo! Hiss!), we've got an exclusive sneak peek at the CW breakout hit's Dec. 2 episode that should help ease the pain. (Yay! Huzzah!)

In an exclusive photo from the episode, titled "Reigning Pain in New Orleans," Original siblings Elijah (Daniel Gillies) and Rebekah (Claire Holt) spend a little time with Eve (guest star Tasha Ames), one of the banished wolves in the bayou, who will lead them to a shocking discovery. Hm...could it have to do with Hayley's long-lost family?!

When we visited the series' set in Atlanta recently, Tonkin teased that Hayley may soon take a stand against Marcel (Charles Michael Davis), he who banished the werewolves from the French Quarter, saying, "As Hayley finds out more about her family, she's obviously going to want to bring them back and allow them to be free and happy in the Quarters alongside all the other witches and vampires."

Helping her out? The Originals, including Klaus (Joseph Morgan), Elijah and Rebekah, the latter of which Tonkin particularly enjoys Hayley's relationship with.

"It's really nice at the moment, especially because they're the two girls in this crazy world and both have very similar upbringings. I think they kind of look at each other like the sisters they never had, which is really nice," Tonkin explained. "They're both very feisty, but I also like seeing girls get along with one another. A lot of time, especially on shows, the girls are written to be feisty and strong and to see them actually bond together as opposed to the bitchy comments back and forth I really enjoy. Hopefully we'll see them be a real force to be reckoned with in a couple of episodes." (To quote the Spice Girls: Girl Power!)

Also going down in the episode? Cami (Leah Pipes) is attempting to make sense of cryptic messages she comes across, which turn out to be coded message she writes herself when she's in Klaus' presence in order to combat his compulsion. Clever girl!

"It's a lot of cryptic notes that she's writing herself in the moment to try to outside of the moment remember," Pipes told us. "Obviously, the writers watched the movie Memento. It's very apparent in the next few episodes."

But Cami will be the least of Klaus and the rest of the supernatural beings' worries as her uncle Kieran and the human faction will make a major move soon. "They're going to come up in very nasty and ugly ways against Klaus and the other vampires," executive producer Julie Plec previewed.  Some of them may live to tell the tale and some of them may not."

The Originals airs Tuesday at 8 p.m. on the CW.
