Hayley Atwell's Dress Looks Stunning, Even If She Can Barely Walk in It

Actress puts in some serious work while walking the red carpet

Talk about a red carpet sacrifice!

Captain America actress Hayley Atwell proved the world of fashion isn't always glamorous when she attended the Evening Standard Theatre Awards in London.

Wearing a sheer, white floral gown, the 31-year-old beauty looked her absolute best. The only problem was she could barely walk as she smiled for the cameras.

"I'm thrilled to be presenting at the Evening Standard awards on Sunday @standardnews My dress is…very beautiful. Hope I can walk in it…" she tweeted to her followers. 

The floor-length Julien Macdonald gown traveled both inside and outside the Savoy Hotel and may have left a couple of marks.

"I left a trail of beads all over the Savoy. Whoops," she tweeted in response to a follower who compared her dress to an ice cream cone. Sounds a little bit harsh to us...until you consider how wonderful ice cream cones are.

Whether you love or hate the outfit, Atwell appeared to enjoy the night with Kevin Spacey, Damian Lewis and Helen Mirren.
