Announced today, fashion retailer Mango is turning a new leaf next season replacing Miranda Kerr with model Daria Werbowy as the new face of the brand starting with their spring/summer 2014 campaign.

Whoa!

For fans of the popular clothing chain, this comes as a bit of a shock, considering the lovely mother of Flynn Bloom, had been posing like a pro for the clothing line for several seasons now, and doing a fantastic job, if we do say so ourselves.

This announcement begs the question—what will Miranda do next? After all, the brunette stunner didn't walk in this year's Victoria's Secret fashion show, so we're curious to see what else is on her plate in the coming months.

As for the exciting news for Werbowy, we're eager to see how she adds her own twist to the brand. If these behind-the-scenes photos are any indication, she's going to knock it out of the park!

"As part of our policy of collaborating with celebrities from the world of fashion, Mango has decided to collaborate with one of top fashion models of the moment," the brand said in a release. "In choosing a model of the stature of Daria Werbowy, our aim is not only to highlight our brand values, but also the importance of the quality and design of the garments in the new collection."

Fair enough—but we have to say, Daria has some very big shoes to fill.

The 29-year-old Canadian beauty is undoubtedly up for the challenge, given her impressive career fronting for countless advertisement campaigns, editorials and covers in the past, and happily joins the ranks of other notable names like Kate Moss, Penélope Cruz, Karolina Kurkova, Naomi Campbell, Claudia Schiffer, Christy Turlington and more, who have all represented Mango in the past.

Not a bad group of gals to follow in their footsteps.

While spring still seems a ways off, we're told that Werbowy's campaign will feature intriguing prints, flowing silhouettes, tribal looks, rock-inspired elements and hippie-worthy embroidery.

We can't wait to see it.
