Britney Spears' new song "Alien" has leaked!

The 31-year-old singer's new track has hit the internet earlier than planned, much to her fans' enjoyment.

"I tried but I never figured it out/why I always felt like a stranger in a crowd," she sings in the jam. "That was then/like an alien/but the stars in the sky look like home, take me home/and the light in your eyes lets me know I'm not alone."

"Cross through the universe to get where you are," she croons. "Travel the night riding on a shooting star/was lonely then/like an alien/had to get used to the world I was on/while yet still not sure if I knew where I belonged/that was then, like an alien."

William Orbit, the song's producer, took to Twitter earlier today to address the song's leak. "It's the wrong version of 'Alien' that's out there. Right song, but had wrong chorus notes, (now fixed) on THE version," he wrote.

"Alien" is the third song to be released off of Brit's upcoming album Britney Jean. Earlier this month, Spears released another new song titled "Perfume."

"'Perfume is incredibly special to me because it hits close to home, and I think the story is relatable to everyone," the pop princess told E! News exclusively at the time. "Everyone's been through an insecure moment in a relationship that's left them vulnerable and I think this song captures that."

And a week before that, Spears released her sexy music video for "Work Bitch."
