Gorgeous!

Angelina Jolie looked stunning as she hit the carpet in a black Atelier Versace gown and Robert Procop earrings at the 5th annual Governors Awards Saturday at the Grand Ballroom of the Hollywood and Highland Center in Hollywood, Calif.

Her hubby-to-be, Brad Pitt (in Saint Laurent), and their son, Maddox, were both on hand to support Jolie, who is being honored at the event for her dedication to humanitarian causes around the world with the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award.

The award is given "to an individual in the motion picture industry whose humanitarian efforts have brought credit to the industry," Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences President Cheryl Boone Isaacs said in a statement when they announced this year's honorees in September.

Inside of the affair, Jolie chatted with Emma Thompson, Ed Begley Jr., Tatum O'Neal, director Steve McQueen and Raquel Welch, among others, before the awards ceremony began.

Leading up to this event, Jolie has kept a relatively low profile, working overseas on her upcoming film Unbroken, and still fitting in time to bring various humanitarian causes to light.

She recently spoke out against the mistreatment of children in Syria in August, and traveled to Jordan in June for World Refugee day.

The Academy's Board of Governors will also present Angela Lansbury, Steve Martin and Piero Tosi with Honorary Awards this evening as well.
