President Barack Obama even posted a message to Batkid in a Vine video, saying, "Way to go, Miles, way to save Gotham."

The little guy, who is in remission from leukemia after being diagnosed at 18-months old, hit the streets with an adult Batman in a Lamborghini-style Batmobile to save the city.

More than 11,000 volunteers showed up to cheer him on as he stopped the Riddler from robbing a bank, saved a woman and shut down the Penguin's attempt to kidnap the San Francisco Giants mascot Lou Seal.

"This wish has meant closure for our family and an end to over three years of putting toxic drugs in our son's body" Miles' mom, Natalietold ABC.

Following Batkid's day of crime fighting, San Francisco Mayor Ed Lee proclaimed Nov. 15 to be "Batkid Day Forever."
