How adorable is this?!
It's clear that Chris Hemsworth is quite the stud (duh), but it's absolutely precious to see that the 30-year-old Australian actor can even make young girls flash a giddy smile and beam with adoring eyes when he's near.
The Thor star was photographed on set of his new film Heart of the Sea on the Canary Islands earlier today, swarmed by a group of little girls who couldn't look happier to have spotted the celeb at work.
Hemsworth's new project will reunite the actor with his Rush director Ron Howard, and will require a very different physique than the beefy muscles we all drooled over in his superhero flick.
During a stop on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the Aussie heartthrob admitted that he's been on a crash diet in anticipation for his next film, where he plays a sailor who is stranded at sea.
"[Heart of the Sea] is the true events that inspired Herman Melville to write Moby Dick," he explained to Jimmy Kimmel. "A bunch of sailors in a whaling ship get struck by a whale, the ship sinks and they jump onto the small rafts and drift for 90 days. And basically they begin to die and eat each other...a romantic comedy," he said laughing, "And we have to get rather skinny. So we're on 500 or 600 calories a day."
Talk about dedication!
