Though small acts of kindness are to be appreciated, there's nothing like an awesome, grandiose act of kindness, either!
The story of Batkid Miles Scott—a 5-year-old who is now in remission from leukemia and who, thanks to the Make-A-Wish Foundation and the city of San Francisco, got to live out his dream of helping the good citizens of Gotham for a day—has prompted a revelatory outpouring of excitement from all around the world—and that includes the White House.
And the epic event that was Miles' day of fightin' crime and being absolutely adorable also inspired a massive, warm bear hug from the celebrity twitterverse. Here's a sampling of the joy that the image of Miles living his dream brought to so many:
Khloé Kardashian Odom: "Batkid ismy hero!!! Tomorrow is neverpromised. You never know when you might be seeing someone for the last time. Set your pride aside and learn to be honest with those who deserve honesty as if tomorrow wasn't promised. I love you all. Stay in the NOW"
Kevin Pollack: "SO proud of my home town!"
Andrew Stanton: "I know who the luckiest kid in the world is for today."
