While Jennifer Lawrence refers to herself as a "monkey" rather than a "fashion icon," the rest of the world may beg to differ as the Oscar-winner continues to rock the red carpet in a variey of high-fashion looks.
Wearing a mauve-colored knee-length BCBG dress, the actress was all smiles as she posed for pics back in 2008 at the Television Critics Association Press Tour, wearing her long blond hair (R.I.P.!), which was softly curled, swept to side in a delicate low ponytail.
"No makeup, lighting, I don't know, I think any girl can rough it up," the 23-year-old stunner told E! News in 2010 at the Mark Townsend Beauty Launch Party.
Another testament to the fact that the gorgeous starlet, who grew up with two brothers, isn't afraid to rough it up? Her role as Ree in the 2010 film Winter's Bone, for which Lawrence received her first Academy Award nomination.
"I definitely de-glammed," the actress recalled with a laugh at the National Board of Review Awards Gala. "I had my teeth yellowed every day."
Although the blond beauty did not take home the Oscar, she looked red hot when she rocked the red carpet in a Calvin Klein Collection gown which was custom-made by Francisco Costa, adding a Jimmy Choo sandal and Chopard jewelry to her gorgeous ensemble.
"Well, I'm a girl! I'm never going to look in the mirror and be like, 'Yeah!'" she admitted at the Hunger Games premiere in Los Angeles. "I mean, I'm always like pointing out everything like, 'Oh, I had a pimple that day,' or 'Oh, I was bloated that day.'"

The fashionista has gone on to become the face of Miss Dior and has been seen rocking dresses by the designer to a number of recent promotional events.
Lawrence is currently earning rave reviews for her performance in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, the second installment in the series based on the novels by Suzanne Collins, which is set to hit theaters on Nov. 22.
