Rihanna is wearing clothes and does not appear to be twerking.

She's just singing in her "What Now" music video, which premiered Friday, Nov. 15, on Vevo. The dark, artsy clip showcases Rihanna's true talent—her voice!—as she sings her way through the angst-filled ballad.

The video features some dark imagery—including a smoking cross, dragging chains, a variety of insects crawling and some lions in the wild—all in contrast to Rihanna's muted looks. She wears a simple beige dress and a similar black frock, making her way through what appears to be an abandoned warehouse.

The 25-year-old songstress spoke to MTV News before the release of the clip, explaining, "It's gonna be kind of eerie, very creepy because 'What Now' is one of those songs that you can get really boring with the visual. You can get really almost expected."

"Everybody's probably expecting narrative type of video, a love story of some sorts or something really soft and pretty," she said. "It is pretty and kind of soft, but it's really a little demented."

Demented? Maybe a little, but it's delightfully bringing the focus back on her music!
