Ashlee Simpson and Evan Ross' summer fling has turned into the real thing! After the couple posed for pictures at the BandFuse: Rock Legends video game launch party in West Hollywood on Tuesday, Nov. 12, the "Bat for a Heart" singer opened up to E! News exclusively about her love life.

"I am really happy," the 29-year-old pop star said during the event, held at House of Blues Sunset Strip.

Once the pair made their way inside, they mingled with former Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash and Relativity Media founder and CEO Ryan Kavanaugh. Simpson and Ross also tried out the new video game, which will be made available to the public on Tuesday, Nov. 19.

Simpson said she'll be celebrating Thanksgiving with her 4-year-old son, Bronx (with ex-husband Pete Wentz). "I'm spending the holidays with him. His birthday is coming up on the 20th, so we're in birthday mode. He's got the best birthday because it's right before the holidays, so it's like extra gifts!"

The single mom said Bronx has been asking for the Skylanders SWAP Force video game. "That's kind of his favorite thing," Simpson explained. "Also, [he loves] any kind of bouncy house or trampoline."

Bronx will be celebrating Christmas with the Fall Out Boy rocker in Chicago. While he's looking forward to getting a few presents from Santa Claus, the pre-schooler has yet to make a wish list.

"He is excited by whatever box the toy he is opening is in, and he is excited to play with it," Wentz recently told E! News, noting that his son isn't into material things. "He sees me unlock the house all the time so he is like, 'I want keys,' and I am like to him, 'Keys to what?' and he is like 'I don't know.'"
