Courtney Stodden says that she's ready to embrace her freedom now that she is separated from Doug Hutchison—but there's at least one noticeable department in which he never succeeded in holding her back.

Though she acknowledged that her husband has played a role in her burgeoning career, the 19-year-old singer says, referring to her signature look, that "physically speaking, he was not involved in that."

"That's actually one aspect of our relationship where we fought so much," Stodden told E! News in an exclusive post-split interview. "He did not want me to, for instance, get hair extensions. He fought me tooth and nail, he's like, 'I do not want you to get hair extensions.'

"When I started to wear [false] eyelashes," she continued, squealing with laughter. "I was like a little girl, [asking] 'Can I wear eyelashes?!' It was kind of like that. He did not want me to falsify myself."

So Doug must not have been too thrilled when she got her breasts enlarged expontentially, then...

"He was so in love with me and he was, like, 'You're beautiful the way you are,' kind of like the au naturel, organic thing," Stodden recalled. "He was like, 'You're beautifully organically, why would you change something that's perfect?'

"That made me want to do it more!" she exclaimed. "So, he just loved me so much the way that I was. But you know, I'm happier now."

Asked what she has to say to those who've inevitably judged her enhanced-bombshell look, the Couples Therapy alum said, "I'm responsible because I put myself out there like that, that's how I look. So obviously I know that some people will have a problem with saying, 'Oh, you're like a sex object, how could you do that to yourself?'

"People are going to judge somebody regardless, if they're in the media or otherwise. They just judge," she shrugged. "But I'm happy with the way that I look."

And Stodden actually isn't as enhanced as some people think. Aside from the boob job, she tells us that all she has done (besides the hair extensions and eyelashes, that is) is recently get lip injections.

It didn't hurt, but "it was a little freaky, to be honest," she said.

As she moves on with her life, Stodden insists that she doesn't care if people have the wrong idea about her.

"I know some people think I'm a walking contradiction, because I say I'm a Christian...I'm not doing a porn, but I look this way and I know people are like, [gasp] 'You're, like a contradiciotn, what is this girl?' But you know, I'm doing my own thing. I'm not ashamed of the way I look.

"I'm a confident girl, I'm happy. And honestly I think that's all that matters—following your heart, looking the way you want to look, dress what you want to dress. As long as you aren't hurting anybody else, I think you're fine."
