Jennifer Lawrence is a big lovable klutz. It's one the reasons everyone loves her so much.

Whether it's tripping at the Oscars or causing a fender bender because of her love of Honey Boo Boo, Ms. Lawrence seems to find herself in some very precarious situations.

Catching Fire director Francis Lawrence admits he became concerned while making the second installment of the Hunger Games franchise .

"In the beginning, I wasn't so nervous but then after while once you see how klutzy she is I was a little more nervous," Lawrence (no relation to Jennifer) told me while promoting Catching Fire.

But get this—the most terrifying thing happened when they weren't even filming!

"We were all shooting in Hawaii and went on a shark snorkel in a shark cage," Lawrence remembered. "The guys on the boat give you the safety briefing and they're telling you when you're out in the shark tank, don't climb out of the cage and go into the water. I was like, who is the person that would climb out of the shark tank and go into the water?"

Guess what happened next!

"Cut to a half an hour later, there's Jennifer climbing up [the cage]," Lawrence said. "She got freaked out by something and she's almost climbing out of the cage. I'm going, 'My God, Jen's the girl that climbs out of the shark cage because she got freaked out by some jellyfish thing and is about to jump into the water with sharks!'"

But it's not like J.Law was the only one prone to accidents. Sam Claflin, who plays Finnick Odair in Catching Fire, said he was always hurting himself during the shoot.

"I did everything wrong," Claflin said. "I managed to fall over even when I was standing still. I walked into a bush and my eye went blood red. I broke my finger."

Here's hoping the odds are much more in their favor for Mockingjay.

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire is in theaters on Nov. 22.
