Whitney Thompson is engaged! The first and only plus-size winner of America's Next Top Model accepted painter Ian Forrester's proposal while sightseeing in Dublin, Ireland, on Saturday, Nov. 9.

The blond beauty shared her happy news with her Facebook friends and Twitter followers. During their trip, the London-based couple toured the Guinness and Jameson factories, visited local museums and stopped by St. Patrick's Cathedral.

Thompson has been perusing Pinterest for wedding inspiration, and she's also asked her fans for bridal advice. "Do we have to do an engagement photo shoot?" she tweeted on Sunday, Nov. 10. "I feel like I have enough pictures of myself."

Since winning Cycle 10 of America's Next Top Model in 2008, Thompson has found work on the runway and in print. "I've been thinking a lot about what I've accomplished up until this point in my life and if I quit tomorrow I would be completely satisfied with what I've done," she recently told Dare magazine.

In spite of her success, Thompson shows no signs of slowing down. "You can do anything you put your mind to if you genuinely want it," she says. "Stop talking about it and do it. You can't wait until your life looks like it's ready. You just have to do it."

The season finale of America's Next Top Model: Guys & Girls airs Friday, Nov. 15, at 9 p.m. on The CW.
