Emma Thompson always seems perfectly poised and put together—and she is!—but that doesn't mean she's immune to an occasional clumsy moment.

The Saving Mr. Banks star was outside the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood on Thursday, Nov. 8, to leave her mark in the cement—in the form of her handprints and footprints. Only as she stepped off of an the elevated box of cement, she lost her balance and toppled onto the red carpet!

Emma charmingly laughed off her little slip, throwing her hands down in mock exasperation before hopping back up. The 54-year-old actress's Saving Mr. Banks costars—including Tom Hanks, Colin Farrell, Jason Schwartzman and B.J. Novak—were all on hand to witness her tumble.

Watch: Emma Thompson Sings Mary Poppins

In Saving Mr. Banks, Emma plays P.L. Travers, the author of Mary Poppins. Walt Disney is played by Tom, and the movie follows the negotiations that needed to happen in order for Disney to secure the rights to make Mary Poppins into film we know and love to this day.

And clearly, Tom enjoyed getting to work with Emma on the movie! "We wish to convey the following message to Emma: Please, Emma, leave England," he quipped at the beginning of Thursday's ceremony. "Come here. Live with us. Live amongst us. Los Angeles and Hollywood need your sense and sensibility. England, they don't appreciate you like we do. The U.K. can make no sense of your sensibility."

Not to mention the fact that we've got Disneyland and Walt Disney World here in the States!
