The oh-so-popular short hairstyle isn't so much as a trend as it is a movement at this point, with one star after another chopping her locks. And the latest leading lady to hop on the beauty bandwagon is Chad Michael Murray's new girlfriend, Nicky Whelan, who took to Facebook late last night to show off her closely cropped cut.
"New hair doooo !!! Photobomb by Yvie !!! Love love love," the Australian actress captioned the shot.
Dressed casually in a long-sleeve tee, baggy sweatpants and red high-top sneakers, the 32-year old posed in profile, giving us a glance at her hairstyle's neatly trimmed sides and face-grazing front layers.
The actress debuted her of-the-moment ‘do just a few days after Jennifer Lawrence and Kristin Chenoweth made similar cuts, though Whelan's hair transformation isn't quite as drastic as theirs, seeing as she had short blonde hair to begin with.
No word on how Murray feels about his gal's new 'do, but since he recently raved about Whelan, calling himself a "lucky lucky man" to be with her, we're guessing he'd be happy with her no matter what haircut she rocked!
