One of the great things about the CMA Awards is that you know the stars' will stick to classic beauty looks—no blue lipstick or metallic headpieces. Call us old fashion but we prefer flawless waves, red lips and extra long lashes anyways.

And this year's 2013 CMA Awards attendees did not disappoint. Naturally, Taylor Swift is a front-runner. The singer matched her stunning Elie Saab gown with her signature red lip. She also opted for a simple yet romantic low bun.

Also rocking a rosy pout was Scott Eastwood's reported gal pal Jana Kramer. The former One Tree Hill actress went with a slightly more berry hue, which complemented her brunette ombré waves.

Never one to wear a statement lip, Carrie Underwood opted for her usual nude lip gloss with a subtle smoky eye, which was enhanced thanks to her very volumous faux lashes. She may have changed her outfit 10 times at the event but her beauty look remained pretty much untouched.

Sporting a similar look, Lucy Hale also opted for side-swept waves and wow lashes. Her Mark makeup artist, Kelsey Deenihan, told E! News that "her makeup had to be glamorous and stand out but not overpower the sweetness of her overall look. We decided on a fresh look focusing on her eyes and drew inspiration from the colors of her dress."
