The German-Irish stud was seen heading to a convenience store to pick up some snacks with a mystery woman in New Zealand, where he is currently hard at work shooting the John Maclean-directed film Slow West.
Despite the long day of work, Fassbender, 36, looked casual and relaxed, wearing a blue jacket and boots with his hair in a messy style while his brunette gal-pal was also dressed low-key in a long tan coat.
After leaving the snack shop, the pair climbed into a car together, although it's unclear where they headed after their short Tuesday-night stop.
Fassbender was most recently romantically linked to British Olympian Louise Hazel, and prior to the 27-year-old heptathlete, he was rumored to have dated Zoe Kravitz and Nicole Beharie.
While the Shame star is undoubtedly one of the most sought-after hunks in Hollywood, he told GQ magazine in October that he doesn't reserve time for dating due to his love for his craft.
"I'm kind of selfish with the hours that I put into the work," he admitted. "I think the longest relationship that I've been in was two years. I started doing this [acting] when I was 17, so I guess in my dating, adult life, that kind of covers it."
And he also opened up about meeting women now that he's a famous guy:
"I make a lot more friends, you know what I mean? You become a lot more successful in terms of, like, talking to a girl," he explained. "She's all of a sudden more interested in me. I know that, like, three years ago, she would've walked away after two sentences left my mouth."
We highly doubt it.
