In case you missed it: Jaimie Alexander pulled a Gwyneth Paltrow last night.

At the Thor: The Dark World premiere in Hollywood the actress went without underwear in order to pull off a sheer Azzaro Couture gown and the effect was stunning. Thanks to a see-through panel that ran down the front and back of the dress, Jaimie played a game of peek-a-boo that left little to the imagination.

The actress and her stylist Emilie Pereira knew how daring the dress would be "but this one was a fashion risk she felt worth taking," Jaimie's rep tells E! News. Indeed, it seems to have paid off. The world is still buzzing about her look and thankfully not because she had a wardrobe malfunction.

"Jaimie, Emilie and her seamstress were meticulous to ensure that proper measures were taken to so that there were no wardrobe malfunctions," Jaimie's rep explains. "Jaimie felt extremely confident in the gown or we would have gone in another direction."

A major factor in the star's fearless attitude? The fact that she knew her body was in amazing shape.

"One of the reasons she embraced the gown was due to her extensive training to reprise her role as Lady Sif; the sole female warrior amidst a legion of strapping men," says the star's rep. "She takes her health and fitness very seriously and opted to flaunt the results accordingly."

In fact, the actress herself told E! News about her Thor training at last night's event:

"I started training two months in advance [of filming] and a lot of weight training," Alexander shared. "But more so this go around, I also did a lot of yoga and Pilates because I needed to be very flexible and do a lot of martial arts."

Still, even when you know you look good, it's always nice to have it confirmed.

"Jaimie is thrilled that the overall response has been exceedingly complimentary and enthusiastic," Jaimie's rep says.
