Beyoncé posted a beautiful picture to tumblr of her adorable 22-month-old daughter being held high in the air by Jay Z. The idyllic shot shows Hov, standing in a shallow pool of water with palm trees and the ocean in the background, staring up lovingly at his beloved baby girl.
In July, the 43-year-old rapper told Power 105.1's Breakfast Club becoming a father "absolutely" has changed him., adding, "I hope I'm great, but I'm learning."
"It's a new thing for me, and I guess it's changed me in a way that—I mean, knowing what's important," he explained. "But I had a pretty good sense of that. It just reaffirmed the things I believed I knew."
And it sure looks like Blue enjoys spending time with her daddy! She also, adorably, loves listening to his music. "She's my biggest fan," he told Vanity Fair's November issue. "If no one bought the Magna Carta, the fact that she loves it so much, it gives me the greatest joy. And that's not like a cliché. I'm really serious. Just to see her—'Daddy song, more, Daddy.' She's genuine, she's honest, because she doesn't know it makes me happy. She just wants to hear it."
He's also protective of Blue, which is why he tried (but didn't succeed) to trademark her name. "People wanted to make products based on our child's name," he said, "and you don't want anybody trying to benefit off your baby's name. It wasn't for us to do anything; as you see, we haven't done anything."
