How would Kristin Chenoweth sum up getting the big chop?
"It was a big brave moment," she told E! News about her new pixie cut at the 2013 Breeder's Cup. "I was scared."
And who helped her overcome her fear? None other than the one and only J.Lo.
"I'm working on a movie with Jennifer Lopez and we talked about my look for the film and I thought it might be a good change, as well, for my life. I just went for it! I've been a slave for that long hair for so long. Now I just wake up and go like that," she explains mussing her hands around her hair, then adds with a knowing smile: "Maybe a little bit more than that."
Her Boy Next Door costar may have encouraged the cut, but Charlize Theron and Jenna Elfman were the celebs who inspired the look. "It's nice, it's freeing," she gushed. And the one downside? "I have a cowlick back here, I didn't know I had, I keep trying to fix it."
Perhaps Jennifer Hudson or Pamela Anderson might have pointers on how to deal with that. After all, both actresses just got similar pixie cuts just last week.
