Demi Moore was doing a little soul searching earlier this week.

The Hollywood A-lister was photographed in McLeod Ganj, India, on Monday, just a few days prior to E! News learning that her dragged-out divorce from Ashton Kutcher may finally be inching its way to the finish line.

Moore seen wearing a black top with light gray pants, a large scarf, dark sunglasses and black boots. The 50-year-old actress is in India attending a Mind and Life conference called "Craving, Desire and Addiction," where spiritual leader the Dalai Lama was scheduled to speak. The event is attended by psychologists, psychiatrists, physicists and philosophers from around the world and is scheduled to end today.

On Thursday, Oct. 31, E! News learned that the Jobs actor filed notice with the court this week stating that he had given Moore a "preliminary declaration of disclosure," which is a prerequisite for divorce. "It could be a sign they are on the verge of a settlement," explains family law attorney Mark Gross.

The next step, according to Gross, would be for Moore to serve Kutcher with her disclosure. Once both parties have served each other and an agreement is in place, the divorce could be finalized imminently.

Kutcher filed for divorce in L.A. Superior Court in December 2012, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for their breakup. The No Strings Attached star did not seek spousal support from Moore and requested that each party pay their own legal fees.

Since the split, Kutcher has been dating his That ‘70s Show costar Mila Kunis since the spring of 2012. Moore has been romantically linked to New Zealand actor Martin Henderson, art dealer Vito Schnabel and former commercial pearl diver Will Hannigan, as well as father-and-son restaurateurs Harry Morton and Peter Morton.
