We know what Taylor Swift will be doing tonight.

E! News can exclusively reveal that the "22" Grammy winner will be Ed Sheeran's guest performer during his concert at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

The British singer-songwriter invited Swift to join him on stage when he found out she would be in New York today promoting her new holiday collection for Keds. "He's one of my best friends," Swift told E! News' Alicia Quarles this morning at the Keds showroom.

Sheeran opened for Swift during her Red tour. He played 66 of her concerts throughout North America between March and September. They originally met after Swift heard Sheeran's music in March of 2012. He would go onto co-write and sing on Swift's single, "Everything Has Changed."

Making music isn't the only thing they like to do together. Back in May at the Billboard Music Awards, Sheeran raved to E! News about Swift's cooking.

"Stir fry," he said when asked to name one of his favorite Swift dishes. "That was good. She gets her wok on."

Sheeran played a small show for fans last night at the Mercury Lounge, the first place he ever played in NYC about 18 months ago. He debuted three new songs, according to MTV News.

One tune called "Forever," Sherran said, was not about Swift after some fans screamed out her name.

And since it was Halloween, Sheeran was in a costume. The redheaded crooner was dressed as a gingerbread man.
