Looks like disco is alive and well!

Gwyneth Paltrow is bringing back the ‘70s with her new Max Factor ad campaign—and shining brighter than a disco ball in the process.

In our first peek at the Goop goddess' work for the beauty brand, she channels ‘70s icon Farrah Fawcett with loosely curled hair that makes for a toned down version of the former Charlie's Angels star's trademark feathered tresses.

And in another nod to the era when stunning sequins were all the rage, the 41-year-old sparkles in a glittering gold gown with a daringly low neckline.

As for makeup, the mother of two makes is one blushing beauty with notice-me rosy cheeks and mile-long lashes.

So, why the throwback to a bygone era?

Paltrow is the face of Max Factor's Modern Icon campaign, which means she will strike poses as legendary celebs Marilyn Monroe, Audrey Hepburn, Brigitte Bardot and Madonna—all women who have rocked some pretty memorable makeup looks.

And seeing as the Max Factor brand launched specializing in movie makeup, it makes perfect sense that the company would want to honor some of the biggest stars of the screen.

And at the pace Paltrow is moving, we wouldn't be surprised if she became a living legend in the not too distant future. In addition to her thriving acting career and oh-so-popular Goop lifestyle site, the mother of two also fronts the Hugo Boss fragrance campaign.
