Dating's tough when you're White House Press Secretary. Ditto an Emmy-winning actress.

But Allison Janney, 44, has finally found real-life romance with beau and fellow actor Richard Jenik.

The two were engaged May 17, during a weekend getaway in San Francisco, her rep confirmed Tuesday.

The camera-ready duo, who have been dating for two years, have not set a wedding date yet.

It'll be the first trip down the aisle for Janney and 36-year-old Jenik.

Janney is best known as C.J. Cregg on NBC's The West Wing, a role that has landed her three Emmys, while her feature-film credits include The Ice Storm, American Beauty and The Hours.

Upcoming projects include the indie Winter Solstice, which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival, and a trio of 2005 releases: Piccadilly Jim, The Chumscrubber and Our Very Own.

Jenik, who guest starred on The District, will join his fiancée on Our Very Own. He's also scheduled to star opposite Wes Bentley in The Game of Their Lives, a true story about the 1950s U.S. soccer team.
