The Missundaztood singer went on a Twitter tirade early today, lashing out at fans who criticized her for allowing her retired motorcross racing hubby, Carey Hart, take their 2-year-old daughter Willow for a weekend ride on his motorbike.
"If any of u have more experience on a bike than my husband, then I will listen to your opinions on how he should take my daughter for a ride," Pink tweeted, adding, "I can't promise I will care, but I will listen none the less."
The 34-year-old hitmaker, real name Alecia Beth Moore, took offense to tweets like this one:
"@Pink wait until she's 16 and let her decide for herself. Bikes are no joke!" wrote fan Ashley Sweeney.
That prompted this tart reply from Pink: "Yeah ok. I've never met you but that's great."
The Grammy winner also retweeted a couple more criticisms.
"@MMH710: @pink How experienced is he behind the bike & how old is your girl?" You first...," she wrote in response.
@MFemur: @Pink Honestly.. I wouldn't like the idea of a child so young being on a bike." Then I don't recommend it for your child," Pink shot back.
The brouhaha got started after Hart tweeted that he was taking their child off-roading on Saturday and then posted two pictures of the BMX ride on his Instagram page.
"Been waiting for this day for a very long time. Willz went for her 1st ride on my motorcycle around the pits today. She was pumped the whole time. When we stopped, she gave me a big hug and said it was fun, thank you Papa. That's my girl," he wrote.
Pink has had a a lot of time to fume over the online backlash. That's because she was forced to postpone two concerts on her current Truth About Love tour recently after doctors put her on four days of vocal rest. She's expected to resume the trek next month.
Until then, she's all in favor of Willz's introduction to the motor sport.
"M'kay I'm gonna go now. Gotta figure out what wills is wearing tomorrow for her MANIACAL MOTO MANIA!!!!!! Gotta pack veggies too! Organic!" the songstress added.
And those who don't like it can just deal with it.
