Gimme more?
Well, if you're a Somali pirate, it's more like gimme less.
Apparently, the music of Britney Spears has proven to be pretty effective at keeping Somali pirates away from Royal Navy ships off the east coast of Africa.
Merchant navy officer Rachel Owens told Metro.co.uk, "Her songs were chosen by the security team because they thought the pirates would hate them most. These guys can't stand Western culture or music, making Britney's hits perfect."
Owens explained that the songs, in particular "Oops! I Did It Again" and "Baby One More Time," are routinely cranked up on the ship's speakers whenever there is danger of being attacked.
"The ship's security rarely needs to resort to firing guns," Owens said. "As soon as the pirates get a blast of Britney, they move on as quickly as they can."
In other words, we're guessing those same pirates wouldn't be too, er, thrilled to hear Spears recite Vincent Price's narration from Michael Jackson's classic Thriller.
Yep. Just in time for Halloween, the "Work Bitch" singer does just that in a viral video she made with BBC Radio's Nick Grimshaw.
Incorporating a British accent, Spears hysterically takes on the famous lines from the song, all while flying on a broom and wielding an axe.
One added line, of course, says it all: "It's Britney, witch!"
