Hollywood is still buzzing about Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's blowout engagement!
E! News caught up with fashion power players Rachel Roy, Karolina Kurkova and Rachel Zoe last night at the Wolfgang Puck's charity Dream for Future Africa Foundation honoring Vogue Italia Editor-In-Chief Franca Sozzani at Spago restaurant in Beverly Hills, and the trio had nothing but great things to say about the lovebirds, who made their first public appearance since the proposal at the event.
"It was magical. To know that it was all done from love and with the intent of wanting someone to feel as special as they are to them," Roy, who attended the surprise engagement party, told us, and added that when it comes to the wedding, "I don't know if it's about topping it or if it's about showing someone that you pay attention to what they like. So the music that was played was Kim's favorite, the ring was designed by her best friend so he could have gone anywhere but he went to her best friend to design the ring."
And the fashion designer thinks it might be a good idea for Kanye to design his lady's wedding dress, regardless of the whole "bad luck" superstition. "I think its all about breaking the rules and being brave and having the guts to do what really makes you happy, and when people in the spotlight do that, it only encourages the rest of us."
Meanwhile, Kurkova, who revealed she's collaborating on a project with Yeezy, couldn't stop praising the rapper. "He's very happy. He's working on a lot of amazing things. He's super creative. I love listening to him, he always has these incredible big ideas and he's a very fascinating guy and Nori is very cute."
Speaking of North West, the fashion model feels the couple's newborn baby girl will be exposed to a very amazing lifestyle. "It's about the experiences, you know, I think to travel, be around the world, see different cultures and be exposed to so many great different things, be in the world of Kanye—he's very talented, very into art. He's very forward-thinking and very creative. And Kim, who is so beautiful—she's gonna have a very interesting life.
"As long as she's happy and they have a nice family time together, I think at the end of the day, that's what a child really wants. They don't really care about what mom and dad do, they just care about mom and dad being there for them."
And the power couple definitely have Zoe's stamp of approval when it comes to style.
When asked whether or not Kimye is Hollywood's most fashionable couple, she tells E! News, "I mean, I think so. I just think they're really cool."
