Orlando Bloom did not talk about Miranda Kerr when he made an appearance on Live With Kelly and Michael and instead raved about kissing his Romeo and Juliet Broadway costar Condola Rashad.

The show aired on Friday, Oct. 25, but was taped only hours before E! News exclusively broke the news about their split.

The 36-year-old English actor enthusiasticaly spoke about his role as Romeo before dishing about kissing, or "snogging," his Juliet.

"It's a British term for a smooch, or you know, a good, long kiss. A proper get in there. Love to show you," Bloom said as he looked at Kelly Ripa, according to the Daily Mail.

"Oh my God!" she replied.

Definition for snogging aside, Bloom then elaborated about what it is like to lock lips with the 26-year-old Tony winner.

"We sometimes get applause after our first kiss because it just goes on," he said. "Sometimes I'm like, I'm not letting go."

Wowza.

Bloom said that the cast has become close and "after the show, people go for a drink."

"I feel so fortunate to be doing it," he continued. "I mean, it's a monster of a play, a wonderful play, but it was really one of those things where my mom was like so, so you decided to climb Everest on the first trip out the gate? That was your thinking, without oxygen."

A rep for Bloom exclusively confirmed the split on Thursday, Oct. 24, "In a joint statement, Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr have announced that they have been amicably separated for the past few months. After six years together, they have recently decided to formalize their separation."

The couple married in July 2010, and welcomed son Flynn in 2011.
