Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr "have been amicably separated for the past few months," the actor's rep exclusively told E! News on Thursday, Oct. 24. That was certainly evident during the couple's last public outing in New York City on Monday, Oct. 7.

In their final photo as a couple, the 36-year-old actor and the 30-year-old supermodel took their 2-year-old son Flynn Christopher for a nighttime stroll in New York City. Bloom—who currently stars in Broadway's Romeo & Juliet—was all smiles with his mini-me perched atop his shoulders. Kerr looked trendy as ever in a Balenciaga bomber jacket, an Equipment sweater and floral Erdem pants.

Bloom and Kerr began dating in 2007 and got married in 2010.

"After six years together, they have recently decided to formalize their separation," the British actor's rep told E! News Thursday. "Despite this being the end of their marriage, they love, support and respect each other as both parents of their son and as family."

Bloom has a busy few months ahead of him, as he reprises his role as Legolas in The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, which hits theaters Dec. 13. And while Kerr won't be strutting her stuff in the annual Victoria's Secret Fashion show, the Australian beauty will continue to promote her Kora Organics beauty line, which was just released in the United States.
