Has Vincent (Jay Ryan) gone completely dark side?!

That is the question on every Beauty and the Beast fans mind so far in season two as Vincent barely resembles the complicated hero Catherine (Kristin Kreuk) fell for in the CW hit's first season. In last week's episode, VinCat fans were left heartbroken when the couple had a violent altercation on the roof, leading Catherine to admit Vincent is dangerous. But is he really killing good guys now?!

We've got an exclusive sneak peek from tonight's episode "Liar, Liar" to share with you, which reveals Vincent may have killed an FBI agent. But Catherine isn't ready to give up on her man just yet...

In the exclusive clip, Catherine, Tess (Nina Lisandrello) and Gabe (Sendhil Ramamurthy) arrive on a crime scene to find out a government official has been murdered and Tess thinks it was Vincent. "No way, Vincent kills bad guys, not government officials," Catherine shoots back.

Soon after, Gabe reveals Catherine's plan to save Vincent and find out who's controlling him. And while Tess isn't exactly thrilled about the idea of Catherine trying to help Vincent, the trio is soon interrupted by a no-nonsense FBI agent. Ruh-roh!

Of course, there is definitely a chance Vincent didn't murder the official as VinCat will both be tracking a new mysterious beast in tonight's episode, but they'll also be keeping busy hiding their individual agendas from each other in a clever game of cat-and-mouse.

Things will only get harder for the couple, as Sendhil Ramamurthy recently told us Vincent's secretive mission could jeopardize their future. "He's on this whole mission which will become more clear as more episodes air, that he sacrifices a lot to kind of do what he's doing, and he's doing it for one reason, which is to be with Catherine," he teased. "But there's some huge sacrifices involved, and it makes both of them kind of question, and hopefully in the end find that their love becomes stronger."

Beauty and the Beast airs tonight at 9 p.m. on the CW.
