Carrie Underwood is known for heating up the music charts, and apparently, the same now holds true for the kitchen.

But not necessarily in a good way.

"I set off the fire alarm in my apartment trying to make dinner," the singer tweeted on Saturday. "Oops! Sorry neighbors... #TopChef #Kitchen#Nightmares."

It's OK, Carrie. We've all been there.

Just ask Ozzy Osbourne, whose own kitchen incident back in August was actually a bit more dramatic.

The rocker's wife Sharon Osbourne tweeted at the time, "I'm in London, @OfficialOzzy is in LA making a bacon sandwich last night and the fire brigade ended up at our house!!"

Fortunately, no actual fire broke out.

Meanwhile, when not cooking (or at least, attempting to cook), Underwood is busy preparing to star as Maria Von Trapp in NBC's live holiday production of The Sound of Music.

The special event is scheduled to air Dec. 5.

(E! and NBC are both part of the NBCUniversal family.)
