If you got a look at Kate Middleton's midriff earlier this morning, then you may just now be picking up your jaw from the floor.

Just three months after giving birth to Prince George, the Duchess of Cambridge's tummy appears flatter than David Beckham's washboard abs!

So how did the new mom whittle down her middle so quickly? Sources tell E! News it's as simple as talking long strolls with loved ones.

"When she's in Bucklebury, Kate always does a lot of walking," says the source. Adding that many locals have mentioned bumping into her out and about with her mother and sister walking the dogs on the footpaths all around the area.

When Prince William's wife isn't enjoying the outdoors, she likes to sweat it out one-on-one with a trainer.

"There is a private gym in Kensington Palace," says a source, going on to mention that Kate has previously had personal training sessions there.

And before becoming a mom, Kate also frequented the Harbour Club in Chelsea for time with a personal trainer. A pal of Kate's said the royal has always enjoyed fitness, especially jogging.

"Kate stayed super-fit by running and hitting the gym. That helps in bouncing back."

Another big help in the duchess's postbaby slim down? A healthy diet. According to royal expert Kate Nicholl, Kate enjoyed snacking on muesli bars and fruit smoothies made by her mom, Carole Middleton.
