Did Kristen Bell just give us a glimpse at what she and Dax Shepard wore on their first night as newlyweds?

After all, soon after news emerged on Thursday that the the two had reportedly married, the House of Lies star took to Twitter and linked to a site selling Game of Thrones thongs featuring the face of one of the show's characters, Jaime Lannister.

Mind you, it's probably a stretch, but we couldn't help but be amused by the timing of the tweet nevertheless.

Later, Bell also proved to be in the holiday spirit when she happily replied to a fan who pointed out how Bell and Shepard kinda, sorta resemble Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger by way of a split shot.

"I love this picture," she wrote. "We should obviously be them for Halloween."

On Thursday, Us Weekly reported that the longtime couple exchanged vows during a small ceremony at the Beverly Hills City Clerk's Office.

The Los Angeles County Clerks office confirmed to E! News that while a marriage license was purchased by Bell and Shepard, the department would not reveal the date it was purchased or whether the two had married.

An eyewitness, though, told E! News that the duo was at the courthouse yesterday and Bell was wearing a white dress. However, because weddings are only performed there on Wednesdays and Fridays, it is unclear whether an exception was made in this case. Clerks, and the justice that performs ceremonies, would not comment.

But according to TMZ, which first reported the nuptial news, the couple had initially shown up just to get their marriage license, but ended up tying the knot right then and there.

Bell, 33, and Shepard, 38, are parents to 6-month old daughter Lincoln.
