Watch: Ryan Murphy Wants Matt Bomer for "50 Shades"

People continue to wonder who is going to take Charlie Hunnam's place as Christian Grey?!

As potential names continue to surface each day, the Sons of Anarchy star's FX pals shared their opinions on who would be a good fill-in as the male lead for Fifty Shades of Grey while chatting with E! News at the Paley Center Benefit Gala honoring the network.

And one familiar face is still rooting for a fan-favorite.

"I keep saying my buddy Matt Bomer," American Horror Story's Ryan Murphy told us. "I love him. I don't know that he wants to do it, but I think he'd be great at that role and I think a lot of people would love him in that role. So I'd say Matt."

Meanwhile, some cast members from It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia have their eye on someone, um, different.

"Probably Danny [DeVito]…Danny's very into it. I hope they approach him, I'd be surprised if they haven't already," Kaitlin Olson said, and Charlie Day added, "That's different gray. That's like all the gray hair on the body."

The League's Paul Scheer nominated himself, telling E! News, "Well I actually made an audition tape online the other day," which prompted his costar Nick Kroll to inform him, "That was just a domination pornography that you didn't know was being filmed."

"Either way, call me," Scheer continued. "You got my number. All I want is President Obama to end this thing so we can get the cast of Fifty Shades of Grey set."
