Project Runway Season 12 Winner Revealed: Was It Dom, Alexandria, Justin or Bradon?

You know it's going to be a good finale when Scandal star Kerry Washington stops by!

Project Runway season 12 came to a close on Thursday night, with the four remaining designers sowing it up to be crowned the Lifetime reality hit's latest winner. After frontrunner Helen's shocking elimination in part one of the finale last week, Dom, Alexandria, Justin and Bradon all battled it out on the runway to win a prize package worth more than half a million dollars.

So which designer reigned supreme, according to Washington, Heidi Klum, Zac Posen and Nina Garcia? The winner of Project Runway's 12th season was...(drumroll please!)...Dom Streater, the 24-year-old from Philadelphia!

Dom's "Retro Redux" collection, which she called her "view of the future, borrowing from the past," wowed the judges. (She took a risk by being the only designer the showcase a bathing suit on the runway, which Posen didn't care for.) Washington and Klum in particular seemed completely enamored with Dom's use of print. Coming in second was Alexandria, with Justin, the first recipient of mentor Tim Gunn's save earlier in the season, coming in third and Bradon placing fourth.

Like all of Project Runway's finales, season 12's closer had its fair share of drama: One of Justin's models twisted her ankles, while one of Bradon's walkers spilled coffee on one of his designs.

At New York Fashion Week back in September, the final eight designers presented their collections to the judges, as well as celeb attendees such as Alyssa Milano and Bow Wow, in order to keep the final four a secret. "BACKSTAGE at the @ProjectRunway SEASON FINALE show for #FashionWeek SOOOOOOO EXCITED! #HereComesTheJudge LOL," the Scandal star enthusiastically posted on her Twitter page at the time.
