Word to the haters: Jenny McCarthy isn't going anywhere.

A rep for The View is smacking down a rumor suggesting ABC is looking to possibly dump the morning show's new cohost five weeks after she started because she's not as popular as the woman she replaced, Elisabeth Hasselbeck.

The spokesperson tells E! News that there is no truth to the story whatsoever.

News of McCarthy's purportedly rocky position first surfaced on Radar Online, which quoted an anonymous production source as saying The View was shedding viewers who supposedly aren't fans of the former Playboy Playmate and preferred her predecessor before the latter left for Fox News' morning show, Fox & Friends.

"ABC has begun doing deep research on Jenny's work on the show and the initial findings are that viewers want to tune out the second she opens her mouth!" the insider said. "The data has revealed that she is far more off-putting Elisabeth."

The source also claimed that View mastermind Barbra Walters "isn't looking for a replacement for Jenny yet," but warned that the 40-year-old McCarthy better "turn it around or she will be gone."

No word how long the blonde bombshell deal with The View is. But as it happens, the ratings don't quite support the notion that Alphabet execs are unhappy with her performance.

According to The Wrap, the program's new season with McCarthy on the panel has so far gotten off to a pretty good start since her Sept. 9 debut, averaging 3.02 million viewers—just slightly below the previous season's 3.2 million viewers.

When it hired the 40-year-old Singled Out star back in July, ABC did take heat however from media pundits who objected to the network giving a platform to McCarthy because of her discredited view alleging childhood vaccinations cause autism.

Either way, it sound like Jenny's job is safe for the time being.

Meanwhile in other McCarthy news, it was announced today that the TV personality has just sealed a deal to publish a new book, From (Eating) Soup to (Busting) Nuts, in which she'll reportedly share her "recipe" for looking good and feeling great among other inspirational ideas. It's set for publication in May 2014.
