E! EntertainmentIn the wake of her separation from current hubby Bruce Jenner after 22 years together, tabloid reports have surfaced claimed Kris Jenner has one big regret in life: divorcing her first husband, Robert Kardashian.
But in an exclusive interview with E! News, the 57-year-old Keeping Up With the Kardashians matriarch is setting the record straight, saying such stories are simply a rehash of something she openly discussed in her 2011 tell-all, Kris Jenner…And All Things Kardashian.
"It's a recycled story," Kris said. "I wrote all about my regret of getting divorced in my book. It's always my answer when I'm asked about my biggest regret."
In a recent interview with the Daily Mail's New You magazine, Kim Kardashian's mom did note though that the guilt of that marriage's demise doesn't weigh on her entirely since she said, "There wouldn't have been Kendall and Kylie," her two kids with the former Olympian.
Kris and Robert, the latter of whom became famous as part of O.J. Simpson's Dream Team of lawyers, tied the knot in 1978 and divorced in 1991 (Robert would later die of esophageal cancer in 2003).
The future momager went on marry Jenner that same year and she and the gold medalist stayed together for 22 years until announcing their separation this past Tuesday, saying that they are "much happier" living apart.
While the split's now official, the Jenners noted they remain best friends and, as if to prove it to naysayers, the pair reunited for a party Thursday night in which she posted pics online of herself, Bruce, and Bruce's sons Brody and Brandon Jenner having a grand old time.
When asked about the Instagram-fest, Kris smacked down a report by TMZ that Bruce's kids have "bitter feelings" towards her due to the split.
"We were all just having fun up at the house like we always do!" Kris said.
We're glad she cleared that up.
