Rest in peace, Cory Monteith.

Glee said goodbye to a beloved actor and character on Thursday night with their tribute episode to Monteith and while it was at times hard to watch the characters mourn their beloved quarterback knowing the actors were simultaneously grieving, it was a touching and emotional hour of television that featured tremendous vocal and acting performances. Lea Michele was a pillar of strength, vulnerability, grace and poise, while Chris Colfer, Mike O'Malley and Romy Rosemont broke our hearts in their scene in Finn's bedroom.

Elsewhere on Thursday, The Vampire Diaries' briefly said goodbye to a fan favorite and Scandal brought back a character or two we're sure Olitz fans were not too pleased to see. Sons of Anarchy's biker gang faced arguably their biggest threat yet on Wednesday, while Arrow welcomed the Black Canary. On Monday, Bones featured one of TV's sweet proposals and How I Met Your Mother's bros worked out their Robin issue. Way back on Sunday, Once Upon a Time's Emma (Jennifer Morrison) had a heartbreaking realization and Homeland's Dana (Morgan Saylor) started taking after her father.

So let's head into this weekend, planning on making the most out of our individual lines, shall we?
