A day after Sam Worthington was caught sneaking a kiss from his rumored new ladylove, Lara Bingle, as the two dined together in Sydney, Australia, the couple took their love outdoors Thursday for the whole world to see.
The 37-year-old Avatar star and the 26-year-old model hit a local beach where they were snapped making out in the ocean and sharing a passionate embrace and lip lock.
Worthington and Bingle's PDA yesterday is the latest confirmation that things are heating up between the twosome.
E! News has learned that the blonde beauty met the Aussie hunk through singer Natalie Imbruglia, a mutual friend, at Cotton On's Global Citizen Festival, which was held in New York two weeks ago.
A source says that while Worthington lives in Hawaii and Bingle resides in Sydney, they've "taken a great fondness towards each other"—enough to make a trans-Pacific romance worth the trip.
"What attracted Lara to him is that she loves that he is a real man," the source explains.
When he's not with his new squeeze, the manly actor is gearing up for a busy run on the big-screen.
Worthington is slated to start filming soon on Kidnapping Freddy Heinekin, a drama opposite Anthony Hopkins, followed by the thriller For the Dogs, in which he'll play an assassin. After those two flicks, he's slated to reprise his role as marine Jake Sully for Avatar, 2, 3 and 4, which James Cameron expects to shoot over a two-year span.
As for Bingle, she's due to launch a swimwear project she designed this coming November as well as a lingerie line next spring.
