Clint Eastwood's Wife, Dina, Withdrew Filing for Legal Separation Two Days Later

Dina Eastwood may not have had a change of heart, but she did change her mind rather quickly.

Two days after filing for a legal separation from Clint Eastwood last month, Dina went and filed for a dismissal in Monterey County Superior Court, E! News confirmed Thursday.

There's been no word (or sign) of a reconciliation, so it's unclear what her intention was. The dismissal request was made with prejudice, meaning she doesn't intend to refile (at least for a separation). Dina's attorney wasn't immediately available for comment.

A source confirmed to us in late August that the Eastwoods had been living apart for some time after 17 years of marriage.

Dina gave no indication on Twitter—a previous outlet for speaking out about the split—during the time that she was filing and then unfiling.

"It is always wise to base our actions out of curiosity for knowledge or quest for truth instead of response to fear or anger. HAPPY MONDAY!" she tweeted Sept. 9, the day she filed for the separation.

And on Sept. 11, the day she filed for the dismissal, she wrote, "Rainbows may only be "partial", but, they are almost always around if ya look!" along with a pic of a rainbow arcing over her panoramic ocean view.

Clint, whose last film as a director was 2011's J. Edgar, is currently shooting Jersey Boys, an adaptation of the hit Broadway musical with John Lloyd Young reprising his Tony-winning role as Frankie Valli.

The actor and Oscar-winning filmmaker, famous for his many taciturn Western roles over the years, has, true to cinematic form, not said a word about the split in public. He and Dina have one daughter together, 17-year-old Morgan Eastwood.
