Kris Jenner and Khloé Kardashian Odom were back in action to honor Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds.
Attending their first event since Kris and Bruce Jenner announced that they had separated, mother and daughter were in the audience earlier today watching Usher and Sean "Diddy" Combs help present the prolific record producer and artist with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Kris and Khloé, wearing sunglasses and bundled up against the autumn chill, looked serious as they waited for the ceremony to get underway, but both were all smiles as they hung out with Diddy and others afterward.
"I'm so proud of you Kenny 'Babyface' Edmonds!!!! You so dearly deserve your Hollywood Star!!!! #Emotional#Proud #FamilyFriends4Life," Khloé wrote on Instagram afterward about their longtime family friend.
"This man is responsible for two of my children," Diddy, looking dapper in a gray three-piece suit, said in his speech, a shout-out to the honoree's signature slow jams. "And I want to thank you for Justin and Christian, I thank you," he added as he and a smiling Edmonds shook hands.
"Nothin but a Diddy thaaang baaaaabaaay @iamdiddy," Khloé also wrote on Instagram later along with a pic of her and the hip-hop mogul.
Usher said up at the podium that he could "only hope in some way" to contribute to the world the way that Edmonds had as a musician, a producer, an artist and a mentor.
Asked how he felt about his famous pals showing up to support him today, Edmonds told E! News, "That was amazing. I think that was the best part of it all, is that you called all your friends and they were there for you. They were there for me and that was amazing."
Earlier in the day, Khloé hit the gym and blew off some steam by flipping off the paparazzi—a moment she also posted for posterity on Instagram.
