This video, of 2-year-old Claire Konkel wishing her mommy a happy birthday, is officially the cutest video on the whole entire Internet. Sorry, kittens. Sorry, babies eating lemons. You lose.
"Usually my wife's birthday is a pretty big deal, so I try to do something new," Claire's dad and professional photographer, Dan Konkel, told Good Morning America about the adorable video.
"I sat her down in the living room and we had a conversation for about 40 minutes," he recalls. "About Mommy and toys and food." He says Claire even picked out her own outfit for her "movie."
Dan's wife, Stacey, is a working mom, so Dan spends most days with Claire while her mommy is at work, GMA reports, a subject the duo touched upon in the video.
"I started talking about when Mommy's not here," Dan explained. "I said, 'She works so hard, doesn't she?' She was like, 'Mommy works so hard,' almost on the verge of tears and I was on the other side of the camera in the living room like, 'Oh my goodness.' It just poured out."
Dan condensed the video to a minute and a half of pure adorableness and secretly uploaded it to his wife's iPad with a note saying, "Hey, watch me." Her reaction? "She said it was the best birthday present she ever got."
