Although the Nashville star has been wearing the diamond on-and-off since April, this is the first time we've got a clear look at the sparkler. And because Hayden didn't dish any details about her massive rock—other than saying "I think it speaks for itself"—we were itching to fill in a few important details.
Luckily, Chris Capri of Capri Jewelry Inc is an expert when it comes to eye-balling bling.
He estimates the diamond is around 6 carats and the ring is worth approximately $500,000.
Although the brand is unknown, Chris easily narrowed down other specifics, like cut and setting. "The diamond is an emerald cut, which automatically requires a very high clarity grade," Chris explains. "The ring looks to be rose gold with a split-shank setting."
Emerald seems to be the cut of choice in Hollywood with stars like Beyoncé, Kate Hudson and Reese Witherspoon all rocking the style. And judging by the grin on Hayden's face earlier today, it's pretty obvious she's happy with it too.
