"Placenta smoothie party w/ @joaniedodds @spraguetheleg who's next?!?!" D'Amato, who welcomed son Daxel Vaughn last month, wrote. In the pic, Dodds and a male friend named Chris Sprague toast with glasses of a pink drink. Dodds is all smiles while holding the smoothie in one hand and baby Daxel in the other.

Further supporting her taste for human placenta post-birth, D'Amato posted a few days ago on her WhoSay page, "Prepped my 1st placenta "hers and his" smoothies for my hub and I... Tastes like a smoothie! :-) #controversy #placentavitamins #yum." In the second pic, D'Amato snaps two similar looking smoothies sitting on her kitchen table.
For the record, some studies show that consuming your placenta provides hormonal benefits.
Placenta or not, D'Amato is enjoying time with her and hubby Adam Friedman's new bundle of joy. She announced the birth almost two weeks ago, writing, "My baby boy Daxel Vaughn Friedman is born! He is 7pds 2oz and he is perfect! I'm in love. #LibraBaby #BornOnTheDayOfTheHeartBreaker."
D'Amato and Friedman married in September of last year.
