Today show host popped the question recently to his longtime girlfriend Siri Pinter

Carson Daly is ready to tie the knot!

The 40-year-old Today show host popped the question to his longtime girlfriend Siri Pinter, E! News has confirmed.

Daly and his ladylove first sparked engagement buzz when the food blogger was spotted sporting a huge sparkler on her ring finger while out and about in Los Angeles Saturday, but it wasn't the first time Pinter was spotted rocking the bling.

When Daly and Pinter hit the Emmys last month, Pinter was also sporting the engagement ring. 

Although its not clear when Daly asked his partner to marry him, the couple, who met when Pinter was a writer's assistant on Daly's show Last Call, has been dating for 6 years and have two children together, son Jack, 3, and daughter Etta Jones, 13 months. 

And while the engagement shouldn't come as much of a surprise given their history together, Daly didn't appear to be in a rush to say "I do," telling Elle back in 2012 that he felt no pressure to get married.

"I think long-lasting, healthy relationships are more important than the idea of marriage," Daly said. "At the root of every successful marriage is a strong partnership. And that's what we have."
