If you didn't know by now, Miley Cyrus isn't afraid to make a controversial fashion statement. And her latest choice is no exception.

The "Wrecking Ball" singer was photographed in a car on Thursday, Oct. 3, in New York City wearing a black halter top featuring an X-rated message in red writing.

The offensive language sprawled out across her chest: "You C--t."

The Queen of Twerk completed the look with red lipstick, chunky gold jewelry and a white manicure.

Photographers surrounded the 20-year-old's car (of course), but she kept busy texting on her gold-plated phone.

This provocative ensemble comes on the heels of some NSFW photos surfacing on Terry Richardson's blog exposing Cyrus' nipple, as well as a back-and-forth with Sinéad O'Connor.

The war of words between the two performers began after O'Connor's open letter to the young pop star expressing concern and worry that her overlty sexual image will become her demise. Cyrus responded by blasting the Irish singer-songwriter's mental illness on Twitter.

As you can imagine, that really added fuel to the fire, and O'Connor slammed Cyrus for her acts, calling her an "anti-female" and "f--king stupid."

Cyrus saw O'Connor's scathing letter, and decided to respond via Twitter (again).

"Sinead. I don't have time to write you an open letter cause Im hosting & performing on SNL this week," she tweeted. "So if youd like to meet up and talk lemme know in your next letter. :)"
